CX Ballarat is the AusCycling cyclo-cross (CX) national championships, the pinnacle event for CX in Australia.
With races over laps of a course for riders of all ages and abilities, CX is terrific to watch and to participate in. Hugely popular in Europe for 100 years, CX is growing all around the world as riders and fans alike discover it.
Watching the event is free and there is good food, coffee and drinks on offer.
The course is ~2.55km, 95% grass and dirt, and includes a short but steep climb and descent (known as ‘The Mound’) at the midway point.
