About this event
Feral Pig Ultra is a demanding trail ultramarathon on the iconic Bibbulmun Track in the Perth Hills, Western Australia, finishing at the Perth Hills Discovery Centre in Mundaring. Held on Saturday 7 November 2026, it brings runners into one of the state’s most challenging and scenic long-distance trail settings.
The event is described as a world-class hiking trail ultra that is known for its rugged terrain, strong elevation changes and testing conditions, making it a true endurance challenge rather than a standard road race. It takes place between North Bannister and Kalamunda along the Bibbulmun Track.
Runners can choose from multiple distances across the event program, including 100 miler, 100km, 50 miler, 50km, 23km and a kids 5km option. Entry numbers are limited across the full event, with a combined cap of 500 runners.
Because the course uses parts of a protected trail network, access for spectators is limited to approved locations. The event is designed as a serious ultra-distance challenge with mandatory check-in procedures and cut-off times to support runner safety and course management.
