Ferguson Valley MTB Club’s ninth XCO, enduro and social ride of the 2026 series heads to Pile Road in Wellington Mills on Sunday, 13 December. The morning combines a handicapped cross-country race with optional enduro, social-ride and shuttle activities, welcoming riders of different abilities and experience levels.
The handicapped cross-country racing is scheduled to begin at 7.30am on a circuit of approximately 4km near the bottom of Pile Road. Enduro, social rides and complimentary shuttle services are scheduled to start at 8.30am from the Pile Road bottom car park trailhead.
Riders can choose from approximately 12km, 25km and 40km social-ride options, with groups organised according to riding speed. The shorter route follows Boylans and returns via Grizzlies, while longer routes continue along Goat and Cash Out towards the Honeymoon Pool Bridge. Participants can also use the shuttle service to access upper trails before riding down Goat and Cash Out, followed by Grizzlies.
All non-shuttle rides are free. A free barbecue and drinks are planned at the bottom car park from midday, providing an opportunity to relax and connect with fellow riders after the morning’s activities.
