Organiser: Gold Coast Marathon
The Gold Coast Marathon is famous for its flat. fast and scenic course located alongside the city’s renowned surf beaches and stunning Broadwater. 60% of participants achieve a personal best time each year and it’s perfect if you’re aiming for a Boston Marathon qualification.
2km Junior Dash
Join hundreds of youngsters aged between 5 and 10 in the 2km Junior Dash held on Saturday 6 July at 9:40am. One parent/guardian may accompany a child if they deem this necessary. Run the same course as some of the world’s greatest athletes and soak up the cheers from family and friends in our famous finish chute.
4km Junior Dash
Join hundreds of youngsters aged between 5 and 14 in the 4km Junior Dash held on Saturday 6 July at 10:00am. Run the same course as some of the world’s greatest athletes and soak up the cheers from family and friends in our famous finish chute.
Wheelchair 4km
New to Wheelchair racing? This event is designed especially for you! Race along Marine Parade and soak up the cheers from family and friends in our famous finish chute.
Gold Coast Airport 5km
The Gold Coast Airport 5km is an event for everyone and starts at 10:30am on Saturday 6 July. Join thousands of all ages and abilities and run/walk/wheel for the good times from Southport to Labrador on Australia’s flattest, fastest and most scenic course.
Elite starts are available for application via the registration form and prize money will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed male and female!
CPL Wheelchair 10km
Join others striving for a personal best and soak up the beautiful Gold Coast on Australia’s flattest, fastest and most scenic course in the CPL Wheelchair 10km. Take in the stunning water views from Sundale Bridge and race alongside the Gold Coast broadwater to a grandstand finish chute at the Broadwater Parklands.
Southern Cross University 10km Run
Enjoy cool conditions in the Southern Cross University 10km Run at 6:45am on Sunday 7 July. Take in the stunning water views from Sundale Bridge and run alongside the Gold Coast Broadwater on our flat, fast and scenic course.
ASICS Half Marathon
Run before the sun in the ASICS Half Marathon (21.0975km) at 6:15am on Saturday 6 July. Enjoy the good times on our world-standard course while soaking up the beautiful broadwater on your return journey from Southport to Paradise Point.
Enjoy scenic sunrise views over the water as you run through Labrador to Runaway Bay before being championed to the finish chute located adjacent to the broadwater in Southport.
CPL Wheelchair Marathon
Join others striving for a personal best and soak up the beautiful Gold Coast on Australia’s flattest, fastest and most scenic course in the CPL Wheelchair Marathon.
Race alongside the city’s renowned surf beaches south to the Burleigh Heads turn point and then head north along to Paradise Point before being championed to the grandstand finish chute located adjacent to the broadwater in Southport.
