About this event

The Harrietville Half is a half marathon road running event held in the Alpine Shire, with a point-to-point course from Bright to Harrietville in north-east Victoria. The route is described as spectacularly scenic and traffic free, finishing in the iconic mountain village of Harrietville.

Alongside the half marathon, the event also offers shorter distances, including a 10km, 5km and a 2km fun run/walk. The course is described as a road event, and the main run takes place between Bright and Harrietville, about a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Melbourne.

Set in a beautiful alpine landscape, the event is designed to suit runners of different abilities while showcasing the area’s country roads and mountain scenery.
