About this event

Hervey Bay Hundy Festival is a weekend multisport celebration held in Hervey Bay, Queensland, from 20–22 November 2026. Combining endurance racing with the coastal scenery of Hervey Bay, the festival welcomes elite athletes, weekend warriors and first-time triathletes.

The festival program includes:

Barge2Beach: a 2km ocean swim event.
HitFM HB50: a half-distance triathlon featuring a 1km swim, 40km ride and 9km run.
Beach House Hotel Hervey Bay 100: the flagship event, comprising a 2km swim, 80km ride and 18km run.
Aquabike: swim-and-cycle events available over either a 1km swim and 40km ride, or a 2km swim and 80km ride.

Team options are also available, providing a way for competitors to share the triathlon disciplines. With multiple race formats across the weekend, Hundy Festival offers opportunities for experienced endurance athletes and participants taking on their first multisport challenge.
