About this event
The Hotondo Homes Broulee Bay to Breakers Ocean Swim is a community ocean-swimming event at Broulee on the NSW South Coast. The main swim follows a point-to-point course from Shark Bay on Broulee Island, across the reef and around the headland before finishing on South Broulee, also known as Bengello, Beach.
The event offers a 1.4-kilometre ocean swim for experienced swimmers, as well as a 500-metre junior and novice swim for younger participants and those new to ocean swimming. A novice category is available for swimmers aged over 14 who have not previously completed an ocean swim.
Participants in the 1.4-kilometre event may also be eligible for the 200-metre-plus Dash for Cash. Flippers are not permitted.
The 2027 event is scheduled for Sunday 7 March, starting at 9am, at Broulee, in the Eurobodalla region of New South Wales.
