About this event
Sea Otter Australia Festival 2026 is a multi-day cycling festival in the Batemans Bay and Mogo area, bringing together racing, riding and a large industry expo from 23 to 25 October 2026. It is promoted as Australia’s largest cycle festival and expo, with off-road racing, social rides, demo opportunities, coaching and a festival village.
The program spans multiple disciplines, including cross-country marathon, gravel, cyclocross, eBike, downhill, enduro and freestyle events. The festival also includes family-friendly activities, guided rides across the Mogo Trails network, shuttled experiences and a trade and industry summit held just ahead of the main festival.
Festival highlights include a three-day bike, gear and industry expo, demo rides on dedicated tracks, athlete meet-and-greets, skills coaching and a broad lineup of brand activations. Publicly available event information also points to a strong focus on the Mogo Trails as the festival’s home base, with nearby riding experiences extending across the wider region.
The event drew more than 9,000 attendees in 2025, showing its scale and growing popularity among riders, industry visitors and cycling fans. As a major mountain bike and cycling celebration, it offers both competitive racing and a lively festival atmosphere in one destination.
