The Kids Fun Run with Puffing Billy is an annual fundraising event organized by the Rotary Club of Emerald and District, taking place on Sunday, 30 November 2025 at Puffing Billy Railway Station, Gembrook, VIC.
This family-friendly event offers children aged 3 to 12 a fun and active day that combines exciting fun runs with scenic train rides departing from Gembrook Station. Participants have the unique experience of running alongside the historic Puffing Billy steam train as it travels up the track, creating a memorable and joyful atmosphere for kids and their families.
Funds raised support local children's causes, including the creation of engaging and therapeutic murals for the Angliss Hospital Children's Ward, embodying the event’s theme of "Kids Running for Kids."
In addition to the fun runs and train rides, the day promises a wonderful outing that brings the community together to support children in need.
