About this event
Manly2Bundeena is an extreme 36-kilometre point-to-point ocean swim from Little Manly Beach to Bundeena, crossing three of Sydney’s major waterways: Sydney Harbour, Botany Bay and Port Hacking. The course finishes near Bundeena in the Royal National Park, linking some of the region’s most spectacular coastal scenery.
Designed for highly experienced open-water swimmers, the event is reserved for competitors with a proven long-distance ocean-swimming record. Solo entries are available, along with relay options for teams of two or four swimmers. Participants should be prepared for a demanding endurance challenge involving changing conditions, open-water navigation and a sustained swim across exposed coastal and harbour environments.
The preferred event window is 14–22 December 2026, with the listed event date of Monday, 14 December 2026. Entry is by Expression of Interest, and acceptance is subject to the event’s experience and team requirements.
