About this event
Join thousands of riders for the 2026 MS Gong Ride on Sunday 1 November, cycling from Sydney’s south-west to Wollongong to raise funds and support people living with multiple sclerosis.
Choose from two scenic ride options. The 80km route starts at Tempe Recreation Reserve and travels through the Royal National Park before taking in spectacular coastal views from Stanwell Tops and the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge. The 53km route starts at Preston Park in Engadine and follows the southern section of the course. Both rides finish in Wollongong.
The MS Gong Ride is a non-competitive fundraising event, with riders encouraged to enjoy the experience at their own pace. Riders must be aged 12 or over on event day, and start waves are allocated to help provide a safe and enjoyable experience.
Participants living with multiple sclerosis can access free entry. Bicycle NSW members are eligible for discounted entry. Fundraising is encouraged but not compulsory.
Event-day transport information includes special train services for riders returning from Wollongong, while registered riders can collect their event bib at designated arrangements depending on when they register. Early registration is recommended, as start-wave places are limited and may sell out.
