About this event
Mt Macedon Trail Runs is a mountain trail running event set in Victoria and part of the Trailsplus Mountain Trail Series. It offers runners scenic yet demanding courses through the Mount Macedon area, with challenging climbs and descents across well-known trail terrain.
Entrants can choose from multiple distances, including 10K, half marathon, marathon, 50K ultra and, in some listings, a 30K option. The event is designed for a wide range of trail runners, from those tackling a shorter mountain challenge to ultra-distance competitors looking for a serious test of endurance.
The course features views from one of the highest peaks in the range, with the start and finish area described as being near the mountain-top car park and barbecue area. This makes it a popular outing for supporters as well, with space to relax, picnic and watch finishers return.
