About this event
North Bondi 2 Coogee is the second event in the Australian Marathon Swim Series, taking place on Sunday, 7 March 2027, along Sydney’s eastern beaches.
Swimmers start at North Bondi and follow a challenging ocean course south towards Coogee Beach and the Ivo Rowe Rock Pool at South Coogee before turning around and returning to North Bondi to finish. The event covers approximately 10 kilometres and is suited to experienced open-water swimmers.
Participants should have prior 10-kilometre swimming experience and arrange dedicated swim support. Conditions may include ocean swell, currents, changing water temperatures and other open-water variables, so swimmers should be prepared for a demanding coastal challenge.
