About this event
The NSW All Schools Triathlon and Aquathlon Championships will be held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre in Penrith on Wednesday, 4 November 2026. The event combines NSW State Championship racing with National Qualifier opportunities for eligible school-aged athletes.
Triathlon competitors can choose from sprint and enticer distances, with categories for juniors, intermediates, seniors and multiclass athletes. Senior competitors will complete a 750-metre swim, 20-kilometre cycle and 5-kilometre run, while intermediate competitors will race over 500 metres of swimming, 15 kilometres of cycling and 4 kilometres of running. Junior and multiclass triathlon competitors will complete a 300-metre swim, 10-kilometre cycle and 2-kilometre run.
Aquathlon events provide a swim-and-run alternative. The senior sprint distance consists of a 750-metre swim followed by a 5-kilometre run, while the junior and multiclass enticer distance includes a 300-metre swim and 2-kilometre run.
With championship titles and national qualification opportunities available, the event offers school athletes a competitive setting to test their endurance, transition skills and race-day preparation across multiple age groups and disciplines.
