The Paluma Village Trail Run is the exciting sixth and final event in the Outer Limits Trail Run Series 2026, offering a memorable conclusion to the series.
Set in the scenic Paluma Village, just northwest of Townsville, Queensland, this event provides a refreshing escape from the coastal heat. Located over 900 meters above sea level, the Paluma Range enjoys cooler temperatures, making October ideal for trail running.
The course showcases stunning trails through the World Heritage-listed rainforest at the southern edge of the Wet Tropics. Runners will navigate technically challenging sections featuring moss-covered rocks, slippery tree roots, tricky creek crossings, and fallen trees across the track, demanding skill and focus.
