About this event

The Perth Running Festival is a major road running event set for Sunday 11 October 2026 in the Town of Victoria Park, with the course starting and finishing at Optus Stadium. It brings together a broad mix of participants, from walkers and recreational runners through to marathoners and wheelchair athletes.

Entrants can choose from 4km and 10km walk or run options, plus a half marathon and full marathon. The programme also includes a 4km wheelchair race and a wheelchair marathon, making it an inclusive event with distances to suit a wide range of abilities and goals.

Set on a road course, the festival is promoted as a showcase run in Perth and is designed to attract everyone from first-time participants to experienced distance runners. The finish at Optus Stadium adds a memorable backdrop to race day and gives the event a strong city-running atmosphere.
