About this event

Progressive Triathlon is a unique sprint-distance event in Darwin that unfolds across three locations and three stages, allowing participants to complete each discipline at a different time and venue.

Swim: Friday, 13 November 2026, from 5:30 pm at Darwin Waterfront.
Ride: Saturday, 14 November 2026, from 7:00 am at Hidden Valley Raceway.
Run: Saturday, 14 November 2026, from 6:00 pm at MGNT Lawns.

The event includes an 800-metre swim, a 20-kilometre cycle and a 5-kilometre run. Swimmers may also have the option of a shorter 400-metre course. The progressive format separates the three disciplines, creating a flexible and distinctive challenge for participants while retaining the structure of a sprint triathlon.

Organised by Darwin Triathlon Club, the event is listed as a sanctioned club event and is open to non-members as a Come + Tri event.
