Description
Join the Pub to Pelican Marathon on Sunday, 7 June 2026, for a spectacular race along Victoria’s scenic High Country Rail Trail, spanning from Koetong to Tallangatta.
Choose from multiple race distances to suit all levels: a full 42km marathon, a 21.1km half marathon, a 10km run, or a family-friendly 3km event.
The marathon begins at the historic Koetong Hotel, heading up Edgars Road before descending approximately 20km along the picturesque High Country Rail Trail through pine forests and farmland. The route then follows a gently rolling path along the shores of Lake Hume, passes through the streets of Tallangatta, and finishes at Pelican Park.
The half marathon starts in Bullioh, the 10km race begins at the Old Tallangatta Lookout, and the 3km fun run takes place entirely around Pelican Park, offering a safe and scenic course along Lake Hume’s tranquil waterfronts.
