Organiser: Rockingham Triathlon Club
The RTC Spring Triathlon marks the exciting opening event of the Rockingham Triathlon Club's 2025/26 Triathlon Series, taking place on Sunday, 26 October 2025 in Shoalwater, WA, Australia.
The race features a 750m triangular swim within the stunning Shoalwater Islands Marine Park, with Sprint competitors completing one lap and Olympic distance athletes completing two laps, including a beach turn-around.
The bike course consists of 6.67km laps on a flat route with a few technical turns and long stretches, offering an ideal challenge for all levels. Sprint racers complete three laps, while Olympic distance participants ride six laps. Roads will be closed to traffic throughout the event to ensure athlete safety.
The run segment follows a scenic coastal footpath on an out-and-back 2.5km lap. Sprint racers run two laps, and Olympic distance racers complete four laps.
All participants not affiliated with a Triathlon Western Australia club must purchase a day license to be insured for the event.
