About this event
The Roller Coaster Run is Melbourne’s mountain run and all about the zig-zag tracks, the gnarly loops, the steep ascents/descents and the trails that never flatten out. Held in the lush, wilderness of the Dandenong Ranges National Park, it’s just an hour from Melbourne’s CBD.
The Roller Coaster Trail Run was first held in 2012 in Mount Dandenong. The event is unique in nature in that it features a 23 km loop, which is then repeated in reverse by participants in the 46km long course event. The event originally started and finished at SkyHigh Mt Dandenong, but was moved in 2021 to Kalorama Memorial Reserve.
There is also a 1.23km kids race and the 12km twilight Mad Mouse run.
