About this event
SMC Road Race 3 is part of a volunteer-run monthly road race series held from September to May at Long Street Park, Smithfield. The event is open to participants who are not club members, making it a welcoming option for runners of varying experience levels.
Races are held on a marked course with distance options including 2 km, 5 km, 10 km and 21 km. The 21 km event consists of two laps of the course, while the shorter options provide alternatives for younger participants, recreational runners and those building towards longer distances.
The start and finish are located together at Long Street Park. The course remains open to the public, so participants should keep left, follow event signage and be courteous to other road and path users. Drink stations are positioned near the start and finish area, approximately 5 km into the race.
Street parking is available, although there is no dedicated event car park. Participants are asked not to use nearby business car parks or park on grass verges.
Single-race entries are available, with multi-race packs offered at discounted rates. SMC Road Race 3 takes place on Sunday, 22 November 2026, in Smithfield, New South Wales.
