About this event
SMC Road Race 9 is part of a volunteer-run monthly road race series held from September to May at Long Street Park in Smithfield. The event is open to runners without club membership, making it suitable for both regular competitors and community participants.
Race distances offered across the series include 2km, 5km, 10km and 21km, with longer 30km events scheduled for selected rounds. The course starts and finishes at Long Street Park, is fully marked with kilometre signs and turn markers, and includes drink stations near the start and finish area.
The course remains open to the public during the event, so participants should keep left and be considerate of other path and road users. Street parking is available nearby; participants are advised not to park in local business car parks or on grass verges.
Multi-race packs are available at discounted rates. SMC Road Race 9 takes place on Sunday, 23 May 2027, in Smithfield, New South Wales.
