About this event
The Sri Chinmoy 100km Road Relays and Solo Run is an overnight endurance event held around Canberra’s central lake parklands on Saturday 20 February 2027.
The course follows a scenic, certified 5km loop on shared pathways through Commonwealth Park and Henry Rolland Park, alongside the northern foreshore of Lake Burley Griffin. Competitors complete 20 laps to cover 100km, with the route designed to showcase Canberra’s lakeside parklands while providing a consistent circuit for runners and relay teams.
- 100km solo run
- 50km solo run
- 100km relay for teams of two
- 100km relay for teams of three to 10
The race begins in the late afternoon and continues through the night, helping participants avoid the heat of the Canberra summer. Relay runners complete one 5km lap per leg, while solo entrants can take on the full distance individually. The event is based at Commonwealth Park, in the Parkes area of Canberra.
With its flat parkland setting, illuminated night-time atmosphere and long-distance endurance format, the event offers a challenging option for experienced ultrarunners as well as teams seeking a shared fitness challenge.
