Round 5 of the 2026/27 Swimming WA Open Water Swimming Series takes place at Sorrento Beach in Western Australia. The event forms part of a nine-event series running from September to March across Perth and regional Western Australia.
Swimmers can choose from a range of distances to suit different abilities and goals: 500 metres, 1.25 kilometres, 2.5 kilometres, 5 kilometres, 7.5 kilometres or 10 kilometres. The event offers an opportunity to experience open-water swimming in a supportive, competitive series environment.
Participants should select the distance that matches their swimming experience and prepare for an ocean swim in open-water conditions. Event registration, eligibility requirements, course information and race-day arrangements should be checked through the official event information before attending.
