The Terrigal Ocean Swim Classic is a long-running Central Coast Easter Saturday tradition held at Terrigal Beach. The event features open-water swims for a range of ages and abilities, with distances including a 400m swim, a 1km junior and novice swim, and a 2km swim.
Terrigal Beach is partly sheltered by the Skillion headland, creating a scenic setting with generally calmer conditions while retaining the challenge and atmosphere of an ocean swim. The event is suitable for beginners as well as experienced swimmers, and wetsuits are optional.
Participants can enjoy a relaxed community event in one of the Central Coast’s best-known beach destinations, with the swims traditionally held in the morning. A daffodil dip and medal presentation also form part of the event program.
