About this event

Trail Run Australia — Snowy Mountains returns to Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa on Sunday 21 February 2027, bringing runners of all abilities to the alpine trails of the Snowy Mountains.

Operated by In2Adventure, the event features a range of run-only courses, from the accessible 5-kilometre TRA5 to the challenging UTRA50 ultra-distance course. The UTRA50 covers approximately 51.5 kilometres, starting at Claypits Park near Jindabyne and finishing at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa, with a total allowable time of 9 hours and 30 minutes.

The TRA5 offers a shorter introduction to trail running, with a course comprising approximately 4.7 kilometres of trails and 100 metres of tarmac. Its finish line is also located at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa, making the venue the central hub for the event.

Set among spectacular alpine scenery, the event welcomes first-time trail runners as well as experienced ultra-distance athletes. Participants can enjoy a memorable weekend of trail running in the Snowy Mountains, with race headquarters and the event finish based at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa.
