The Trails and Tails Coopernook event on Sunday, 23 August 2026 offers a dog-friendly trail running experience set in the scenic Coopernook State Forest, NSW.
Participants can choose from distances of 21km, 14km, 7km, or a beginner-friendly 4km course. The 7km lap is relatively flat, featuring approximately 140m of elevation gain per lap. This event provides a unique opportunity for dogs to run alongside their owners in a race setting—ensure you select a distance appropriate for your dog's fitness level.
Dogs must remain on a lead at all times from the moment they leave your vehicle. This event welcomes all competitors, whether running with a dog or solo.
