About this event

Join us for Transcend Trails on Saturday, August 22, 2026, an iconic multi-distance trail running and hiking event spanning the stunning Avon Valley in Western Australia. Starting at sunrise in Walyunga National Park and finishing at Cobblers Pool near Toodyay, this event showcases the region's most spectacular trails across four parks.

Choose your challenge from six distance options:

65km Ultramarathon: The flagship distance traversing the entire Avon Valley. Run solo or form a relay team of 2–5 participants.
40km Trail Marathon: An undulating course with 1,612m of elevation gain offering epic trails and panoramic views. Available as a run or hike, solo or in relay teams of 2–3.
28km Trail Run/Hike: Starting from Nissen Hut in Gidgegannup, this scenic route features 988m of elevation gain.
12km Trail Run/Hike: A more accessible option for those seeking a shorter adventure.
6km Trail Hike/Fun Run: Includes an adaptive wheelchair option, welcoming all participants.
Kids' Dash: A family-friendly event held the same day.

Whether you're an experienced ultrarunner, a weekend hiker, or introducing your family to trail adventures, Transcend Trails delivers an unforgettable experience through one of Western Australia's most beautiful landscapes.
