The Veteran Games National Finals return to Sunshine Coast Stadium in Bokarina on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026, bringing teams from across Australia together for a high-energy celebration of the contemporary veteran community.
Australia’s premier military-inspired team competition for veterans combines demanding physical challenges, tactical activities and problem-solving events. Teams of 10 will test their teamwork, resilience and determination through an obstacle course and a series of military-inspired challenges that reflect the values of purpose, community, service and excellence.
The two-day event is designed for competitors, families and spectators alike. Alongside the live competition, visitors can enjoy a family festival area, dedicated kids zone, food vendors, a DJ, prizes and other spectator attractions.
Whether cheering from the sidelines or taking part on the field, attendees can expect an energetic weekend filled with camaraderie, community spirit and friendly competition. The National Finals offer an opportunity to support veteran teams, celebrate their achievements and experience the shared values that connect Australia’s veteran community.
Veterans who have served in the military, including current or former Australian and overseas personnel, are eligible to compete. Participation is organised in teams of 10, with places limited to 25 teams.
