About this event
The Victorian Omnium State Championships return to the DISC Velodrome in Thornbury on Saturday, 24 October 2026, bringing together leading track cyclists to contest one of Victoria’s premier endurance titles.
An omnium combines a series of track cycling events, testing riders’ consistency, versatility, endurance and tactical judgement across the day. Competitors must adapt to different race demands while building an overall result against a strong field.
The championship is open to eligible junior, under-19, elite and masters riders. Interstate competitors may enter the open championship and are eligible to contest the event and win medals, while Victorian riders compete for state honours.
The event also serves as a Victorian state team selection opportunity for under-15, under-17, under-19 and elite riders. AusCycling Race membership is required for entry, with registrations scheduled to close at 11.59pm on Monday, 19 October 2026.
