What is Walk for Waverley?
Walk for Waverley is a fun, inclusive way to kick start your 2025 fitness goals with friends, family or work colleagues and help raise funds to support meaningful and innovative employment for those living with disability.
Why Walk for Waverley?
Waverley Social Enterprises has been breaking down barriers for over 40 years, providing meaningful employment opportunities to people living with disability. Our mission is clear: to empower individuals, build confidence, and create pathways for independence and inclusion. But we’re just getting started.
How It Helps Our Mission
The funds raised through this campaign will enable Waverley Social Enterprises to:
• Create new job opportunities tailored to individuals living with disability.
• Develop training programs that empower employees with skills for lifelong success.
• Invest in facilities and resources to ensure a supportive, inclusive workplace.
• Advocate for greater equity and inclusion across the community.

How to get involved
• Register – Sign up for Walk for Waverley individually or tackle it together with your friends, family, colleagues or teammates
• Set your goals – Choose your fundraising goals and your walking goal, this could either be steps or distance
• Customise your page – Make this page a reflection of you or your team, add a photo and page description or a blog post
• Share it with others – share your fundraising page with your community on social media or by QR code, let people know why you’re walking and why its important
• Connect your fitness apps – We want to be there and celebrate you every step of the way, connect your preferred fitness app to the platform and share your steps!
