About this event
Walk4BrainCancer Canberra starts from the lawns of Upper Commonwealth Place on Sunday 11 October 2026. The event brings friends, families and the local community together to support people impacted by brain cancer and fund research.
An Iconic Lakeside Course
The five-kilometre walk loops around Lake Burley Griffin, with views across the water towards Commonwealth Park and the Captain Cook Memorial Jet. Wristband collection begins at 8:30am, formalities start at 9:00am and the walk gets underway at 9:30am.
Gather After the Walk
After completing the course, walkers can enjoy a BBQ, music and entertainment for all ages at Upper Commonwealth Place.
Entry
Adult entry is $35 for participants aged 16 and over. Child entry is $20 for ages five to 15, and children under five are free. Register using the official event link.
