About this event
The Wambenger Gravity Challenge is a team-based mountain bike gravity event held on the Wambenger Trails near Collie, Western Australia, as part of the 2026 AusCycling MTB Enduro Oceania and National Championships program.
Riders compete in pairs across four timed stages, with each team member completing every stage. The combined times determine the final team result, rewarding both speed and consistency across the course.
Official practice is scheduled for a half day on Wednesday 21 October, followed by racing from mid-morning on Thursday 22 October. The event forms part of a wider championship program running from 21 to 25 October at the Collie Mountain Bike Trails, against the scenic backdrop of Wellington Dam.
Categories include Wambengers, Wayfinders, Weekend Warriors, Well-Seasoned and Open, offering a range of entry options for gravity riders. The event provides an opportunity to race the Wambenger Trails before the championship competition continues with Oceania and national title events for eligible riders.
AusCycling race membership is required to enter.
