About this event

Build mountain bike skills, confidence and riding ability in a fun, supportive setting with Wangaratta Cycling Club’s Junior Mountain Bike Development Program.

Delivered by Riley Corke, a former Australian junior world mountain bike representative, the program is designed to help enthusiastic young riders develop their technique and progress towards racing in the Victorian Mountain Bike Championship Cross-Country Series.

The Term 4 program runs weekly from Monday 9 November to Monday 14 December 2026, with sessions from 4pm to 5.30pm. Riders will take part in six sessions focused on skill development, confidence and preparation for cross-country mountain bike racing.

Date: Monday 9 November 2026 to Monday 14 December 2026
Time: 4pm–5.30pm each Monday
Location: Wangaratta, Victoria
Cost: $50 for the term, excluding AusCycling membership
Eligibility: Riders need a current AusCycling licence, with a minimum Ride membership

Participants should bring a mountain bike in good working order, a helmet, water and snacks, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, and closed-toe shoes.
