The Warburton Trail Festival is a multi-day trail running event set in the Yarra Ranges, celebrating the region’s wild singletrack and river-country scenery. It features a long weekend of trail races across Saturday 7 March to Monday 9 March 2027, with distances designed for a range of runners, from shorter night runs and short-course challenges through to demanding long-distance trail efforts.
Across the weekend, participants can expect a festival-style programme built around trail running, outdoor adventure and a strong community atmosphere. The event includes race options such as the 50km Redwoods Rush, the 22km Donna Double, the 27km Redwoods Rush, the 14km Sawmill Grove, the 10km Little Joe’s Night Terror night run, and the 3km Lilo Derby.
Most events start and finish at the Warburton Recreation Oval in Warburton, with bib collection and event activity centred there over the festival weekend. The programme also includes special feature races and prize offerings, making it one of Victoria’s notable trail running weekends.
