About this event

The Warrnambool Summer Series returns to Jetty Flat Reserve for Race 1 on Wednesday, 6 January 2027. This friendly community running event offers a choice of 2.5km and 5km distances, making it suitable for walkers, runners and families.

The course follows a loop that starts and finishes at Jetty Flat Reserve. Participants in the 2.5km event complete one lap, while the 5km event involves two laps. Walkers start at 5.45pm, followed by runners at 6pm.

Registrations are available on the day from 5pm, with cash and EFTPOS accepted. Entry is $5 for a single entrant or $10 for a family comprising two adults and up to four children.

The event supports a local charity selected by the Warrnambool Running Club, with half of the proceeds donated to the chosen cause. It offers an active way to start the new year while supporting the local community.
