Description
The Warwick Pentathrun is a dynamic two-day event held in Warwick, Queensland, approximately two hours south-west of Brisbane. Scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 24–25 May 2025, it features five distinct races that together cover the full marathon distance of 42.2 km.
On Saturday, the program begins with a half marathon in the morning, followed by a 5 km race on the closed runway of Stanthorpe Aerodrome, and concludes with a 4.5 km cross-country race at the Warwick Horse Trials venue. Sunday starts early with a challenging 10 km hill run at Queen Mary Falls, Killarney, divided evenly into uphill and downhill segments, and finishes with a 1,600 m sprint around the Warwick Racecourse.
Participants may enter any single race, a combination of races, or the full Pentathrun by completing all five events over the weekend. The Warwick Pentathrun offers a unique opportunity to experience a variety of race types in diverse settings, making it a memorable challenge for runners of all levels.
