About this event

Round 2 of the Wodonga 5km Handicap Series is a Thursday evening 5km race at Ebden Reserve beside Lake Hume. The event is part of a five-race series held fortnightly at a selection of Albury-Wodonga venues.

Runners compete under a handicap system, with staggered start times calculated from a reliable recent 5km performance, such as a parkrun result. The format gives participants of varying abilities the chance to race for line honours, regardless of their usual running pace.

Marshalling begins 15 minutes before the listed start time. Participants must be aged 12 or older and register by 9pm on the Wednesday before the race.

Prizes are awarded to the first finisher, the fastest male, the fastest female and the competitor nearest the pin. The overall series winner is determined by the lowest total of finishing positions across all five races.

Round 2 takes place on Thursday, 22 October 2026, with the race scheduled to start at 6.30pm at Ebden Reserve, Lake Hume.
