About this event

The XTERRA Asia-Pacific Championship returns to Dunsborough on Saturday, 3 April 2027, bringing a festival of off-road racing to the region’s turquoise waters, rugged trails and sweeping single-track terrain.

The headline event is the full-distance off-road triathlon and Asia-Pacific Championship race, comprising a 1.5 km swim, 30.2 km mountain-bike course and 10.5 km trail run. The event is designed for athletes from across the region, with challenging natural terrain and a competitive championship atmosphere.

The programme also includes a sprint-distance triathlon, featuring a 750 m swim, 15 km bike ride and 5 km run, as well as a super-sprint event with a 200 m swim, 5.8 km bike ride and 2.6 km run. Additional trail-running and children’s races form part of the wider event festival.

Race activities and the event expo are centred at the Dunsborough Country Club, with the triathlon swim taking place from the Old Dunsborough Boat Ramp. Competitors can also take part in course practice and community activities associated with the event weekend.

With championship racing, off-road participation events and family-friendly activities, the XTERRA Asia-Pacific Championship offers a memorable sporting weekend in Dunsborough for athletes, supporters and spectators.
