Blue Mountains Conservation Society Plant Study Group Walks

Blue Mountains, NSW

Activity Details

The Blue Mountains Conservation Society Plant Study Group explores native flora on leisurely walks at different locations across the Blue Mountains. Outings generally take place on the second Saturday of each month and usually last half a day or a little longer, with occasional bus trips further afield.

Members learn together in the field, observing plants and sharing discoveries about flowers, leaves, fruit, habitats and the wider ecosystem. There is no formal teaching, and beginners are welcome.

The group is open to members of the Society and requires bushwalkers insurance. Before attending for the first time, email the Plant Study Group contact using the details on this listing. Join the Society through its membership application and check the current group programme for the outing location and any changes.
