Activity Details

Illawarra Ramblers Club is based in Wollongong and brings adults together to enjoy the Australian bush and the outdoors. Its programme combines bushwalking, cycling and kayaking, with activities on most days of the week and trips away.

Walks explore coastal tracks, bushland and other scenic areas, while rides and paddles offer different ways to explore the region. Activities are graded, with distances, terrain and any required abilities described in the programme so participants can choose a suitable outing. The club encourages friendship and shared outdoor interests.

Membership is open to people aged 18 and over. Prospective members can arrange up to two trial day activities by contacting the club, which will put them in touch with the relevant leader. Trials do not include trips away.
