Bairnsdale Rowing Club welcomes rowers of all ages and abilities to join our thriving community at Howitt Park. As a member organisation of Rowing Victoria, we provide structured training and competitive opportunities for adults, juniors, and students.
Training and Learn to Row: We offer a dedicated Learn to Row program for both adults and juniors, featuring 4-week courses to get you started on the water. Regular training sessions cater to different skill levels, from beginners to competitive rowers.
Membership Options: We offer flexible membership packages including full-year and half-year memberships, family memberships, junior memberships (under 18), student memberships, and casual Associate Memberships. A Learn to Row course costs $100 for a 4-week program. Visitors not affiliated with other rowing clubs may row up to 3 times before joining. New members can register online through our website, and membership renewal occurs annually before 1 July.
Competition and Regattas: Members have the opportunity to compete in regattas and sanctioned rowing events through Rowing Victoria. We also welcome coxswains and non-rower volunteers to participate in club activities.
