Port Cygnet Sailing Club offers extensive participation opportunities for sailors of all ages and skill levels in southeastern Tasmania's beautiful waterways.
- Training sessions: Sail training is available using the club's fleet of 9 Pacer dinghies, 4 Optimist dinghies, and keelboats including Etchells and Soling. Junior and youth sailing programs run with scheduled weekly sessions for returning sailors and new registrants.
- Play opportunities: Active racing occurs mainly on Sundays in the afternoons with a full season schedule, including a Tuesday twilight series starting in December and a major annual Regatta in March. Members can race on club boats or join as crew on private boats.
- Membership details: The club has about 500 members who benefit from club-owned boats and organized events. Race fees are $130 per season or $10 per individual race. Visitors may join via temporary membership to access insurance coverage and participate safely.
Members enjoy sailing in iconic cruising grounds like the D'Entrecasteaux Channel, Bruny Island, and the Huon River, fostering both competitive and recreational sailing experiences.
