Activity Details
Vaucluse Yacht Club offers competitive sailing and training on Sydney Harbour for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced racers. The club features a full racing program with Saturdays from September to April as primary racing days.
Training and Learning:
- Saturday morning training classes for beginners learning the basics
- Learn to Race Lasers Course for those new to competitive sailing
- Access to a large fleet of Lasers and range of yachts for training and racing
Racing and Events:
- Regular competitive racing throughout the season with fleets of yachts
- State and National championship regattas hosted at the club
- The historic Vaucluse Regatta, a 90-year-old event attracting competitors from across Australia
Membership:
- Membership celebrates people from all backgrounds and actively promotes access to sailing
- Boats can be stored onsite in storage racks or brought by trailer on race days
- Excellent boat access, change-rooms, and undercover balcony with views of Sydney Harbour
