Join runners from across Australia at this premier event featuring a full 42.2km marathon, half marathon, 10km run, and 5km fun run/walk—all set against the scenic backdrop of Adelaide's iconic landmarks.
The marathon follows a nearly flat, two-lap course starting in the heritage-listed Adelaide Parklands at Bonython Park. Runners proceed through War Memorial Drive to Adelaide Oval, along the River Torrens and the famed Uniloop—popular training grounds for local running groups—before passing through Botanic Park and the zoo, returning to Bonython Park for a triumphant finish.
This AIMS-certified course allows marathon participants to qualify for world-renowned races like the Boston Marathon. All finishers receive a medal, with electronic timing, certificates, and age-category awards provided.
