The Annual Gift of Life Walk in Canberra is to raise awareness on organ and tissue donation registration. The walk starts at 7am and is free to sign up on our website. We have free t-shirts, hats and dog bandanas to give away. We'll also have free coffees and a BBQ breakfast. Over 1800 Australians are on the waitlist for a life-saving transplant and only 26% of Canberrans are registered to be a donor. The Walk is about raising awareness and starting the conversation to save lives. (It is not a fundraiser). Gift of Life Inc is a registered charity in the ACT.

This Walk is our longest running and biggest community event on our calendar.
The Annual Gift of Life Walk is the launch of our 2024 activities.
- Long Walk bridge to bridge - around 45 minutes
- Short Walk - around 15 minutes
Bring your family, colleagues, your pets, or come on your own.
6.30 am - 8.30. The Walk will commence at 7.00am
- Free t-shirts, hats, dog bandanas, drink bottles and more
