The Australian Alpine Ascent (AAA) Trail Run takes place on 14 February 2026 in the stunning Kosciuszko National Park, NSW. This challenging event offers three race distances—80km, 55km, and 27km—across rugged mountain terrain combining road, single track, and fire trails.
Runners will experience the breathtaking landscapes of the Snowy Mountains, including alpine meadows and the iconic ascent to Mount Kosciuszko, Australia's highest peak, providing unforgettable summit views. The event tests endurance and mental strength amid variable alpine conditions.
Professional support includes aid stations and safety measures, ensuring a vibrant and well-organized race atmosphere supported by local communities.
Also happening on the same day is the AAA XTRI, an extreme triathlon challenge for multisport athletes.
