Description
Organiser: Balmoral Triathlon Club
The Balmoral Triathlon Club’s Women’s Triathlon will be held on Sunday, 7 December 2025, at the picturesque Middle Head in Mosman, Sydney, NSW.
This enticer-distance event features a 200m swim in the calm, sheltered waters of Obelisk Beach, followed by a 9km bike ride consisting of three laps along Chowder Bay Road, which will be closed to traffic for the race. The triathlon concludes with a 2km run on Middle Head Oval.
Participants can compete individually, completing all three legs, or form relay teams in any configuration: two-person teams where one athlete completes two legs and the other one leg, or three-person teams with each member completing a single leg.
The race is open to all women aged 15 years and over and emphasizes a supportive, inclusive atmosphere focused on enjoyment and camaraderie rather than competition—embracing the motto: “Finish Lines, not Finish Times.”
