Start beach volleyball at Manly Beach with a four-week Level 1 Learn & Play course built for complete beginners. The course gives adults a structured, social way to learn the sport's basic skills while playing on the sand.
Sunday Morning Course
This Level 1 course runs on Sundays at 9:15am from 11 October to 1 November 2026 at Manly Beach. Sessions run for 90 minutes across four consecutive weeks.
Course Focus
- Serving, passing, setting and spiking basics
- Beach volleyball's basic rules
- Fun drills for new players
- Game play situations with other course participants
For Complete Beginners
The Level 1 course is the organiser's introductory option and is most suitable for adults with almost no previous volleyball experience. The format is friendly and social, with coaching aimed at helping participants learn and improve in a relaxed beach environment.
Booking and Cost
The four-week Learn & Play course costs $165. Participants book through the organiser's course schedule and can manage enrolled sessions, rescheduling and make-up sessions through their account or the Beachvolleyball.com.au app where available.
