Try beach volleyball at Maroubra Beach in a four-week Level 1 Learn & Play course for adults who are new to the sport. The course is set up for complete beginners, combining coached skill development with social game play in a relaxed beach setting.
Sunday Beginner Course
This course runs on Sundays at 9:15am from 25 October to 15 November 2026 at Maroubra Beach. Each coached session runs for 90 minutes across four consecutive weeks.
Skills Covered
- Serving, passing, setting and spiking fundamentals
- Basic rules and court awareness
- Fun drills that help new players build confidence
- Game play situations with fellow participants
Beginner-Friendly Format
Level 1 is the organiser's introductory course and is most suitable for adults with almost no prior knowledge of beach volleyball. The emphasis is on learning at an approachable pace, getting active outdoors and meeting other people who are also starting out.
Booking and Cost
The full four-week Learn & Play course costs $165. Once enrolled, participants can manage bookings through their account or the Beachvolleyball.com.au app, including upcoming sessions, rescheduling and make-up sessions where available.
